half bukowski, half plath with a dash of kafka
claptrap scatters of a hungry mind, for who seeks
love, forever, always. #signésigrée

So the truth is
I drive like a motherfucker
I love speed
Though I tend to
Move slow
And I get these surges of inspiration sometimes
I will write
I run late
I break down and throw fuses
I don’t give a rats ass about
What people expect of me
I can be an asshole
Every so often
And I can be messy
Though I am kind
I stay kind
I love promiscuous s*x
And laying
Bare breasted
I am cowardly impatient
Impulsive and a roller coaster
Of a sensitive
Unpredictable
Unstable
I will cry when I laugh
As much as I
Laugh when I cry
Some hate it
Most of my life
I convinced myself I did too
I love singing outloud in my car
Windows open wide
I Used to freeze when we meet
Now I guess
I keep going
Through the creaks
When my skin peels
And my throat clamps
I still speak
I’m done with hiding
So I’ll show up
Scared but aware
And I don’t know what’s bound to happen
But now’s my time
I listen
– just a girl, tired of hiding #writtenbyjustine taken in Montreal, Quebec by @sigreejost

Isn’t it funny how every time I yap on troubles about feminism, men are flabbergasted by my rage and tell me I’m so lucky to be a woman and how it’s God so much easier when you’ve got boobs and a p*ssy? Why’re you always so angry?
Does your God have boobs and a p*ssy?

and thank god for that.
Can you actually believe we live in an outdated society where these things are classified as unproductive? unimportant? I remember in one of my many jobs, where, I lost track of myself and I needed a lot of rest. I remember people pitying me and telling me I should get some rest. They were rooting for me to get back on my feet- and at the time, it did feel good. Then when I actually did just that, taking the time for myself, sleeping more, playing more, creating more, saying « no » more- well then I wasn’t met with the same enthusiasm this time round. No, I was no longer a team player. #Letsplay #singintherain #sunday
