Today it’s Looksmaxx this, Jestermaxx that! How about you Ècoutermaxx to my mix LIVE from the infamous Klymax @ maxx volume?!

It was a mad feeling to finally let off these tunes that I’d been dying to hear in that room for the longest time. (wish I was on the dance floor for the full aural experience!)

This selection all has real meaning linked to a funny story or great memory of mine so I wanted to take the time to turn the setlist into a wee work of art and share some of my creative process!

A real ‘Anak Bali’ with a true love for music. Always showing love and connecting the dots with artists and their counterparts, you introduced me to so many new friends and looked after us all so well in Japan.

Last summer I was at the Jazz Cafe Festival in Burgess Park, mainly to catch @brighterdaysfamily TBH! After setting the levels they brought out a guest I didn’t recognise. Her rendition of K.I.G - Head, Shoulders, Kneez & Toez into a few of her songs was definitely one of my highlights of the day and left me wondering, “Who was that?!”

Fast forward a few weeks, I’m back in Edinburgh. My boy Giuseppe invites me down to a listening party at Jamaica Mews. I didn’t really even check who the artist was if I’m honest, I was just keen to hear some music and catch up.

I’m very glad I went down. Vibey venue, beautiful crowd, the amazing Babylon Fox DJing, and Natanya introducing each track on her project ‘Feline’s Return Act II’ - it was giving superstar for real! Halfway through the night I put two and two together. I clocked that it was Natanya I’d seen in London and finally answered my question. Funny how things work!

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole EP. My personal fav is ‘On Your Time’ (that nod to Aaliyah 😮‍💨). If you haven’t already, go listen to the project in its entirety! 💕 taken in Jamaica Mews by @siimonster

The very talented @markrist0ff on the opening day of his first solo exhibition ‘Interloper’ at the Focus Gallery in Jakarta, September 2025.

I first met a young Mar in 2020 at @naps.digital with the @t_a_k_s_u boys. I’ve been lucky enough to watch his (and all of their) progression through the years. Super proud to see this gentleman strive! If you’re not familiar with his work, now’s your chance 💘

Last time I was in London I bumped into my mate James, we crossed paths both on lime bikes. He was heading home but told me about a rave in the forest.

I had just finished playing Warmsin’ @ Next Door Records & was on my way to a club of which the name I forgot and was worried about the bouncers taking my delicious loud (again).

I asked him if he smoked? He didn’t but his girlfriend did. We exchanged numbers and he dropped the pin. I continued to the club content my Briscotti was going to a good home and not the pagan bouncer mafia who’d much rather watch you drink yourself into a kerfuffle than embracing the sweet sinsemilla.

Got to the party but it was looking peak. Big queue & no ins with the venue. Over it & about to go home, I bumped into Pierre, Jyrell, & Sean who were also en route to this club and we were simultaneously not vibing with the scenario. I mentioned the forest rave and they had heard of it too. That was enough this sketchy motive was starting to have legs. Quick pivot, jump in the uber via Iain & Babs house to reload & change into some more appropriate footwear then into the motherfucking bushes.
