The legend og himself @breal @brealtv of @cypresshill recieved his @spotify plaque today for my album Carpe Noctem, special thanks to @mellow_man_ace for bringing it.

In November 2007, I got the chance/opportunity to work with B on a track called Ride Out which was for his album The Harvest. I travelled to LA with my homie PJ as he is a big Cypress fan to record in B’s studio. The whole day in the studio with B-Real & Jay Turner (Audio Hustlaz) soaking up game from B, Demrick, Jay, thekeenone and which lead me to signing a one album licensing deal with Latin Thug Records and to also include the track on my album. The Harvest dropped 1st in 2010 making way for build up and anticipation of Carpe Noctem.
Ride Out received a lot of positive reviews and because of the guidance (if you think Dr. Dre making people redo lines, B-Real made me redo a line over and over again too that I was sick of hearing my own voice 😂) made me appreciate the whole recording process more. There really is a difference between a dope song and a great song. I’m grateful and extremely humbled that after 14 years watching the album reach new ears, old heads discovering it and it go through its waves that it has accomplished this where I’m able to get these plaques done for everybody’s contribution on Carpe Noctem.

Thank you B 🙌🏼 for being apart of my musical journey. It never went unappreciated. You deserve this.
Ps the album was also inducted into the Canadian Library & Archives as well for “culturally & historically significant”.

Forgot to add this the other day. It’s one of my favorite 80’s songs , the saxophone in this song is peak. Since I work nights/early mornings, this song is first track that plays when I get in my car. RIP Glenn Frey 🕊️ . This song was on the Miami Vice soundtrack along with another song I’m going to do in near future. by @sikadime

I saw the trailer for I Play Rocky. All I can say to @officialslystallone is it looks great and I can’t wait to watch it. You know I had to mix in a cover for my afternoon.
