My boy is growing so incredibly fast. It's the MOST bittersweet feeling I have ever experienced. I love watching him grow and learn as he comes into his own personality with his own opinions and thoughts, but at the same time it all happens so fast and as he becomes more and more independent, he needs my help less and less. And selfishly, like almost all parents, I kind of want him to need me forever. I miss him being so tiny he would fit in the elbow of my arm easily. But time stops or slows for no one and I need to continue to try to be as present both mentally and physically with him as I can. I need to cherish these days and moments with him continuously now and in the forever future. I love you, son! "A quarter of a score, here's to more" or somethin corny like that...
