This post is brought to you by the personality trait I usually avoid in public: feelings.

This is an artistic reflection of the weight I’ve carried these past two years, pushing through, breaking quietly, trying to stay visible while fading internally. I nearly quit. More than once. And maybe I should have. But it wasn’t on my terms, so I never said goodbye.

To the ones who stuck around while I posted inconsistently, spiraled quietly, and ghosted my own presence—THANK YOU 😭 Watching my follower count drop felt like a public breakup with the identity I built online. I told myself it didn’t matter. But truthfully? It did. It still does.

I’ve felt guilty for disappearing. Guilty for not keeping up. Guilty for not being the same to people I still love.

The next slide is from nine months ago, post-breakdown. I shaved my head. Why? Because I wanted to. Because I needed to. Because scissors were safer than what I was thinking. And also, I’ve always wondered what I’d look like bald. Spoiler: like a little boy. Regret not cosplaying Furiosa while I had the chance. Should’ve committed to Aang, at least.

Most people in my life don’t even know I shaved my head. Being vulnerable like this? Hard. Only sharing the first 3 months of regrowth because after that it turned into a sad little fro, and no—ya’ll aren’t seeing that lmao.

I’ve had a loud mind and a quiet mouth for as long as I can remember. This little blip in time just turned up the volume. If this post lands with you, I hope it makes you feel less alone. You never know what someone’s hiding behind a smile. 🫂

I didn’t share this looking for pity. I just hope expressing it helps me move forward, and maybe offers proof that survival gets weird sometimes. 🖤

It’s Drizzlin’ time 😎

During my hiatus, I’ve learned a lot about Dungeons & Dragons. Homeland: The Legend Drizzt by R.A. Salvatore is the first book I’ve completed in a minute. Usually have a hard time finishing 👀 I loved it sooo much! Completely new fantasy world to me and was the perfect escape!
