Drakey, I miss you.I miss your Instagram videos and I miss you making me redo something funny I did so you could record it. I miss you eating a $500 lobster on moms birthday with no shame. I miss you blaring house music driving your Tesla on auto pilot. I miss hitting a back day with you and watching you run to the bench to max out… I miss you a million times over and I know there’s gonna be more and more I find that I miss about you. You were such a unique person there’s no one like you, you’re special in so many ways, you see the world from angles we can’t see, you think outside the box and made sure you were the best at everything you did in life. I can’t wait to see you again Drakey. The first morning I woke up without you I wanted to go back to sleep I don’t wanna wake up another morning without you. The first day was so hard I don’t know how I’m gonna continue doing this. I miss you drakey. You we’re always my biggest supporter, you always saw the best in me, even when I was a little chubby kid you have always been so proud to be my brother. You Spoke so highly of me any time you talked about me. You would brag about your little siblings to anyone you met. You knew I could do bigger things than I could even imagine and always pushed me, even if it was tough love. I always looked up to you Drakey. I will shed a million tears for you but in the process I will grow and achieve all the big dreams you had for me. I promise you that.I love you. I’m so proud to be your brother your name, love, and legacy will forever live on through me and I will make you proud. I know you will always be walking with me and watching over me and for that I am so thankful. I love you drake more than anything in this world there is no bond like one with your brother. Mo’ui ma’u pe ‘iate auFinished up a 3 day tat marathon with @desmond_tattoos , 24+ hours under the needle , 30+ hours together and with a few lu pulu breaks we finished up my Tatau. I couldn’t be more thankful for the experience and outcome of these sessions. It only felt right having Desmond do my Tatau knowing he did Drake’s and how much Drake loved what he did for him and I felt his effort and how invested he was in giving me something my brother would love and be proud of, as the rest of my family and I are. I am so proud to have and wear this on my skin, I forever am connected to my brother, our family, the islands of Tonga, our culture, and the ancestors who came before us. Drake, today marks 5 months Since I lost you and I didn’t forget the promises I made you while you were here and especially after we lost you. Now I have a physical reminder of what I’m working toward and the things that are important in life. When you passed I spent a lot of time with you and something that helped me get through and feel close to you was feeling the texture of your Tatau and looking at everything incorporated and what it represented for you and our family, being able to feel that on my skin now is so special to me. We share so many symbols and designs in our Tatau because we are brothers and it tells our story but more importantly reminds us that everything we do and the way we treat people has our family’s name on it and we have to carry ourselves with that in mind. Thank you for being the best big brother and going first, knowing you sat in that same spot just months before gave me the courage to get mine done. ‘Ofa lahi atu to you Drake and to our family for all the support and love🙏🏽 by @silakivaicarmichael
