Muchas gracias to @javierfornm for hosting the best table ever and for supporting the safety of all of our communities. It was an incredible honor and privilege to meet Pulitzer Prize winning journalist @maria_la_hinojosa 💖 I got to hear about her new documentary about the life of Estrella, an undocumented transgender survivor of human trafficking from Mexico. by @silanmpolitics

What does it take for everyday people to change our political system? Join BABE VOTE and Common Cause New Mexico for People vs. Politics, a documentary following grassroots reformers across the country working to make our democracy more representative and responsive.

The film features BABE VOTE members and the movement they’re helping build. New Mexico also makes a cameo at the end, recognizing the work we did to pass semi-open primaries.

Come celebrate that progress and connect with others interested in continuing the work, including efforts to bring ranked choice voting to Albuquerque. Bring a friend! by @silanmpolitics

What an incredibly successful fifth anniversary for @imagine_abq_ I’m so grateful for the community this organization brings.
Thank you @ypabq for hanging out this morning! The amount of hands that goes into putting an event like this is unthinkable and every day, I remember that this is what building a village is. Thanks for being one of the best villages out there. 🧡

I hit the campaign trail the past few days with my client and friend, the Honorable Judge Brenna Clani-Washinawatok - who is running to keep her seat as District Court Judge in McKinley and San Juan Counties. At every point in her life and career, Brenna has met the moment - including in her role as the very first Native American woman on the bench here. We crisscrossed her district - from Gallup to the Four Corners area to Farmington - telling voters her story. She made a comment that will sit with me for a while - “it’s important for the community to see someone like me on the bench.” She is also so emphatic that this campaign isn’t about her, it’s about the people she serves and the generation who will come after her.

Election season always seems to bring a certain craziness and chaos to my life and work, but it’s always so worth it to be on a team like Brenna’s - a public servant who is so fervently committed to her community and the law. It’s so rare, and such an honor to work for someone like Brenna. I’m so inspired. Thank you to Brenna and Sila for trusting me to be a part of this effort. by @silanmpolitics

Speaker Martínez, 1 of 50 Speakers in the nation and only 1 of 2 Latino Speakers, is running for reelection!

We are so blessed as a state to have a leader like him who shows up for our communities every single day. The work doesn’t end when session ends and it doesn’t begin when session starts, it is always ongoing and he’s consistently showing up.

I’m so honored to have his support in the work that I do and I’ll always support @javierfornm in his efforts to continue serving NM families. Vamos! 👏🏽 by @silanmpolitics
