1 year ago today we lost a loving member of our community. Rhyland McCullough was a great friend of mine from the moment he moved from Massachusetts. April 19th is a day to remember how nice, funny, athletic, caring and loving Rhyland was. Rhyland was an amazing athlete who pushed others to be at their best while making his best look effortless, an example being running a track race in pajamas and still proceeding to do well. Rhyland was someone that you could be around even in your lowest times and he could still make you laugh and boost your mood. My personal favorite memory with Rhyland was at a neighborhood party he brought me outside in the snow and tried to teach me Taekwondo moves. With his high level of Taekwondo experience, every time I would attempt a move he would defend it and I would end up in a headlock. His memories will stay with us forever yet leaves us with sorrow knowing that there should have been more to be made. Rest In Peace Rhyland.
