DATTS : In The Meantime - SLDR003 Release Date : TODAYAnother spawn of lockdown, DATTS started producing rap beats, always leaning towards a darker, drums-based minimal sound - then became obsessed with bass and atmosphere in sound design. Introduced to UK Garage, D&B, Jungle & 140 by Tommy Villiers, he then took inspiration from the whole network of UKG DJs around the world. A huge fan of Soul Mass, ESC’s selections and that groovy House-Garage sound in general.Jittering perc leads you down a dark alleyway, sparse lead sounds against that ever present wobble bass. Like staying out too late and getting lost out the back of the car park. Can you hear some kid running up? The Format Error EP SD001 was our first release on the label and we are feeling blessed by the recent support we are still getting from the likes of @danny_rankin @sean_ross__ @_1nstagraeme_ on their recent shows. This really does mean everything to a small new label like us. We now look forward to our event at @maltings.taphouse with @eklektik_uk and @dxtts05 next Friday 19th June from 6pm.
