St. Thomas, Jamaica – With the spirit of
Emancipation and Independence in the air,
rising Jamaican artist Shanice Sewell has
released “Black Green and Gold” on July 31st.
The song is a love letter to Jamaica. It embodies
the pride of a nation that celebrates its people
through the black, the green, and the gold —
symbols of strength, endurance, and wealth in
heritage.

Even through lack and struggle, the message is
clear: life is sweet.
“Black Green and Gold” is a celebration. As the song declares, “It’s a celebration inna JamDung. We’re the nation of all nations.”

Crafted to capture the authentic, traditional feel
of festival time, the single arrives as Jamaicans
home and abroad reflect on who we are and
where we come from. It’s music made to wave a
flag, lift a spirit, and remind us why we’re proud🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
