As of today SILICO is no longer a band.

We have decided that it is time to part ways with each other, head our separate directions and do our own thing.

All shows we planned on playing coming up we can no longer play and we apologize for that.

I started this band with my buds Ric, Lance, and Jesse and debuted in 2021 it was a sludge act and before my brother Ric’s passing we decided to pursue another mutually loved path in punk, and hardcore. After his passing and Lance parting ways with us Jesse and I continued on making what we loved, over time we got to make some dope fuckin music, and meet dope people.

Being able to play music with these guys has been one of the greatest privileges of my life, and a learning experience as well. We decided it’s time to not drag it on, as differences kept goin on and on and disagreements became fights.

Out of respect and knowing this is the end, all previously released music will be put back up as an archive on our streaming spaces. We previously took old music down with the intention of making an archive for our lost brother but now as it ends I think it should all be in once place. So expect that to appear within the week.

Id like to thank all the people involved in this project even if we have drifted apart:
Jesse, Ric, Lance, Dave, Ben, Robby, Brandon and Noah

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Our next few shows will be our drummer Daves last ones with SILICO. May 5th being his last Richmond show.

He has been with us for 2 years now and has been one of the dopest dudes we have had the pleasure of playing with. He has been the reason why we can do this traveling for shows, and has been a part of as well as supported our sound through all the transitions in style we’ve done. Unfortunately life is busy as shit and some of these responsibilities take priority first, we appreciate you dave and we appreciate everything you have done.
