Okay so I’ve been very quiet online lately and now you know why. I’ve been a busy, tired gal growing a little human that’s arriving very soon. 🤍 I’ll be honest, stepping away from Silk has been such a scary thought. Building this business over the past 5 years, it can feel like you’re walking away from everything. But I remind myself that the hard work and passion I’ve poured into this brand was also so I could have the flexibility to one day have a family and be present for it when that time came. I was a little worried sharing this news because I thought people would take their business elsewhere once they found out I was becoming a mum. I soon realised that was my own insecurity because my clients and potential clients have been SO supportive. Most of them mums themselves, sharing their words of wisdom, excitement and reassurance - which honestly just reflects the community I’ve attracted and built over the past 5 years, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ll be back with a new purpose, new passion, and of course a new member of the Silk team. How young is too young to start teaching them about marketing?! #silkdigital by @silkdigital_
