POSTS STORIES REELS

Since co-writing with independent Artists, I've come to understand all the crazy big stuff that goes into a release. The time, the expenses and investments, the creativity, the sacrifices and discipline. I could go on.

It's a huge honour to contribute what I love to do to a track for @jxckymusic and for him to believe in it enough to take it all the way to release!

Listen to the "Ahhhs" in the chorus to hear some of the harms I added. Listen to the switch up in the 2nd pre to hear the awesome melody development @monstrmansion put in. Hear the instrumentation and reharm for talent and tasted added by @sbninety. And hear Jxcky's heart in his always treasured and carefully carved out lyrics.

Lots of love to this team for believing I can co-write sad indie pop ballads! And as always, I give all the Glory to God for giving me my voice! by @silksoli

HOLY smokes, we’re 1 week away from Parallel Lines!!! ˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀

i haven’t really shared too many snippets of the song just yet bc i want the music to speak for itself but if you want a sonic idea, the best way to describe this song is imagine Billie Eilish’s ‘Happier Than Ever’ and Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Driver’s License’ had a baby. it would be Parallel Lines ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)

i wrote parts of this song on my bedroom keyboard alone and then @silksoli and @monstrmansion hit me up to do a writing session. i’m super protective of personal songs that i start on my own so i was hesitant to bring this one in but something in my gut told me to. and it turned out perfect ₊˚⊹ᰔ we assembled a whole team to get it right from @daniel_lee_music on guitar, @sbninety on production and mix, @silksoli on vox arrangement and @panorama_mastering on mastering.

and now it’s all yours in a week!!!

Since coming home I've gone overboard on bread 🍞. I'm craving rice again 🍚. But it's just not the same as in Korea!

I wish to see everyone again as soon as possible!

Everytime I dozed off during my flight, I woke up thinking I was still in Korea. 😭

In my mind and in my dreams I'm still there! I miss you all already! 💙 by @silksoli

In a small way, I made contributions to “About Time” sung by BANG YEDAM for the K-drama soundtrack ‘In Your Radiant Season’. My gratitude goes to @iammaxxsong and @kimgeunjung for the opportunity and to @jasonmoooon and @enthosxiao for always supporting me while I’m learning. It’s a privilege to share a song with such talented people!

이 노래가 가장 어울리는 자리로 찾아갈 수 있게 해주신 작곡가님들께 감사드립니다. [<- Thanks Jason for helping me express that. Still learning!]

And as always let any large or small success of mine bring Glory to God! by @silksoli

I was so well celebrated this birthday! I was fed all my favourite foods from Saturday until Monday, and surrounded by family and friends! Thankyou to everyone who made time for me! 💟

The homemade pizza and the fresh strawberry cake were above and beyond! I felt so special! I'm so lucky to have such thoughtful people in my life!

And shout out to my uncle and cousin who put water into my windscreen wipers for me. 🚘 It's the small things that are post worthy!

Today I'm 28 and 1 day! 😂 Just getting started! by @silksoli

Canberra don't be so good to me, you make it hard to leave!

Big shout out to all the friends and family who spent time with me this weekend! It's really special to know that I can come back and continue exactly where we left off.

Also big shout out to 'The Shed'.
It. Was. Free. No $$$. What??
With a kitchenette, lounge, studio, equipment, parking, wifi, and available to book on weekends!? I still don't believe it!

Oh and Canberra, I LOVED how nothing was further than 20mins away. It really helped me fit in as much as possible!

I'll be back again, cause I love you all too much! If you're in Melbourne come say hi!! 👋 by @silksoli

@jojoelmerrr making my day!

When 2 country girls spend the day in the city...

#melbourne #dresscute #citygirls by @silksoli

Years ago I made a prayer for these two girls before they were born. In 2024, it was answered.

When I first left home for my music degree, I knew I would teach singing one day and I knew I would live abroad one day. I just didn't know when, and I didn't know where. All my peers were music tutors in their respective instruments, but I always hesitated; thinking I didn’t have the skills.

But God knew.

I visited home one day and noticed that the first son⚡️of a new family was old enough to be running past me. After that moment, I prayed something like this:

God give that family another child. Make her a daughter. And while you're at it, make them twin daughters. And if you do, from wherever I am in the world, I will teach them singing.

For me, making a promise like that was a huge deal. I was scared by the responsibility; I didn’t yet have the experience teaching singing. I trusted that God would prepare me to be a good teacher.

Weird how another family’s personal matter became my prayer. But a miracle how God had it all in his hands.

Skip to 2024, I have years of experience teaching, I've lived abroad and come home, and into that family were born twin girls who are now 6 yrs old. 2024 was the year I had the privilege of being their first singing teacher! 🌈🌈

Recently I had so much fun helping to prepare them to perform at our local ‘Carols in the Park’. They LOVE a microphone! This pair are already natural performers; it’s in their design!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank God for allowing me to invest into and guide all my singing students so far and yet to come. And for answering all the prayers that led to these girls blessing the world. And especially I am so privileged to serve God in his purpose for me and lift these girls up in their purpose for God.

This is a casual voice memo I recorded while I introduced Flossie 🌈 to the song “Pure Imagination” (composed by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley).

I love every wobble, gasp and mix-up. Her little voice is so precious in every way.

God we give you the glory!

I don't know how to say it but here goes; this is my debut cut.

'Our Diary' - ME:I

I'm so grateful to @nadanielcho @stereo_hz @benaddict_music and @enthosxiao. Your talents are shining the brightest on this song!

This song is special to me because it's the first song I deliberately trusted in God's hands and deliberately prayed over before we started writing. So I have a prayer of gratitude.

God, I pray that this song brings glory to you and blessings to all who hear it. I thankyou that you took me, a broken person, and used me to help make something beautiful alongside many wonderful people.

And of course a big thankyou to the members of @official_me_i_ for bringing this song to the world. And a big thankyou to their fans for the sweet, sweet support for 'Our Diary'.☀️

친구들과 함께 한국에 있던 지 1년이 지났습니다. 이제 제가 작사, 자곡한 곡이 처음으로 나옵니다.
저를 도와주시고 응원해주신 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사합니다!
