I was debating whether to post this or not but I have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Summer 2017 vs Fall 2023. I’ve always struggled to gain weight. Hearing people constantly say “you’re too skinny, you need to put meat on your bones” heightened my insecurities which in turn made me depressed. I tried everything to gain and NOTHING worked. I would workout but wasn’t consistent and I wasn’t seeing results fast enough so I stopped. This year however, I said f**k that, you first, you second, you third. I put in the work I needed to and gained 18lbs as well as getting my mental right. That may not be seem like a lot to some, for me though it’s an accomplishment and I am proud of me for it!! Self-care is the best thing you can do for you. Put YOU first because no one else will. The work is never done. #motivation #girlswholift #fitness #weightgain #mentalhealthawareness #gainszn by @silla_87
