 Introducing sillystuff — a show full of bizarre, precisely-made objects that ask nothing from you except curiosity.
Garlic bulb night lights, toilet paper scarves, meat man, and more: it’s dumb (endearing), it’s weirdly beautiful, and it’s happening Saturday September 13th from 7pm-9:30pm at Point of View. It is our sincerest hope that you may satisfy the capitalistic urge to shop & collect as a means to construct a rich external world that mirrors your inner complexities, nuanced preferences, and refined taste—we just might have the perfect products for those who may or may not be emotionally bankrupt but are still filling the void one oddly specific purchase at a time!

This is the first lamp I designed and crafted, first debuted in January of this year. There were a few weeks preceding where I just kept getting ads for 3D printed lamps and you know what they say ads imitate life <> life imitates ads. I wanna say I'm not like other girls (3d printed lamp companies) but in this instance I think I'm trying to be like the other girls for once. [Insert generic artist origin story about how I never fit in etc] anyways this is my most accidentally beautiful design. It's not often I embark for sillyness, as I often do, and it turns out this beautiful. Now that's what I call anomaly. If you saw my dumb reel yesterday you may know I'm trying out a new call to action, and that cta is shop f.a.r.t. (no worries if not). The beautiful thing of about f.a.r.t. is it's a spectrum, spanning between: fun affordable ridiculous things <AND> fancy affluent ridiculous treasures ✨ thank you for following along this journey 💨 by @sillystuff.shop

Oh hi, I didn't see you there, welcome to my allium cinematic universe. These onion night lights emit a special gradient glow because of a special step where I prep a two tone light diffuser in advance that snaps inside the body of the onion, bc the light bulbs are far too bright and blinding otherwise. You could say that's my way of saying i love onions without saying I love onions. The purple really wins me over every time because its so Nintendo 64 clear controller and the purple glow is really soft and subtle. The yellow onion emits warm and neutral light. Anyways these onion designs are basically viola, the garlics are so violin and green onion is totally cello. Onion nightlight is a perfect choice if you're sensitive and sharp, loyal yet transparent, and love to quietly collect strange but practical things!! by @sillystuff.shop

Maybe I should discontinue all my other lights and go all in on hot dog night, maybe i'll change my name to soft surprise sausage syndicate, lmk in the comments if you would like to be a founding member of the soft surprise sausage syndicate. This light is great for casting spells (good spells only), pretending like youre the type of person who has hot dog cookouts with friends, and wondering how much whimsy it could possibly take to cure the gaping hole of hopelessness and emptiness you're in denial of everyday as you look in the mirror and barely recognize the shell of your former self but at least you look pretty cute in glow of some flattering red light 🚨🚨🚨 Heartbreak feels good in a hot dog like this 💃 #giftideasforher♥️ by @sillystuff.shop
