🚧 WiP. My first ork ever ! So let’s celebrate Orktober as we should with a first take on this lovely one to get the hold on those pesky orks. Decided to go with Evil Sunz scheme and try a slapshop method as well for the first time. I’ll finish the base next time but I love this little dude.
What should be the next and real orktober guy ? The weirboy from Armageddon box ?

And here we are ! Please find my take on Infinity’s Lament from Ulthwe. This is my entry for @reaper.hobbies contest #rc9melee. I modified it to build a bit more gravitas. The head is from guardians, the blade from Eldrad.

I hit many wall me during the process of this mini, i have no clue on doing osl, nmm, or any advanced techniques beyond base/shade/highlight so YES it’s been hard but i tried, hopefully I’ll get better at it. I had a blast getting out of my comfort zone and pushing the limits. Thanks to all the members of the contest as well. They’ve been kind and inspiring !

Until next time !

🚧WiP for @reaper.hobbies contest #rc9melee ! Getting there but I’m really pushing any single of my limits on this model and in addition I’m running out of time. Need to be ready by Wednesday and we are still one weapon and a head short ! :)
Any I’m having a blast 💥 thanks for C&C as always

I had the insane luck to be a winner for @gamersgrass 11th birthday so I received yesterday this incredible box : chaos wasteland.

So here is a bit of unboxing. As you can see, it is packed with elements and I cannot wait to use it for my next project which I may pick just to have an excuse to do a chaotic wasteland base !

🚧 WiP: finalizing the base for @reaper.hobbies contest ! It’s my first time doing many things there but especially not following a box art or any direction so I keep second guessing EVERYTHING. anyway, here it is, I tuned down the snow and plants to be more in the death mood, tried some small OSL on the wound and overall pushed my highlights everywhere.
Do not hesitate to C&C !
Next, we go for the Seer. 10 days to go !!

Daughter/Father project. My 6 years old picked the mini and the color scheme for this. We built and painted together and had tons of fun doing so. I don’t understand why she loves Votan so much but that’s been a cool moment !

🚧WiP on my #rc9melee entry for Infinity’s Lament.

Base is almost done, those Tufts from @gamersgrass are so perfect!

Now I need to continue working on the Seer.

Please C&C !

Today has been a blast as I finish my summer project with a kill team tournament hosted with great talent at @laguildedesfigurinistes. The occasion to take a serious initiation for the game and test my scouts (which despite the last nerf from this week feels really strong!). Occasion also to meet plenty of nice (and patients) people and great painter such as @victordebatisse ! Looking forward to seeing those people again and get better at this game which seems to have much more depth than initially expected !

WIP 🚧
Again a first time here, where I cut stuff for a (small) kitbash to try to qualify for the melee component of @reaper.hobbies contest.

It’s been a while since I wanted to paint Infinity’s Lament so I modified him a bit. Objective will be to have it from Ulthwe Craftworld. Certainly too ambitious for my noob skills but I’ll try anyway and hold witness here :)

And here we are: back home (with my mini studio at last) after the holidays with this project completed. It’s been hard to work upon, plenty of new stuff tried, not always successful : snow bases, free hand, faces, trying not to be lazy with highlights, … please C&C !

There will be a little killteam tournament next Sunday with them and I have NO IDEA how they should be played. That will be fun.
