I’m sorry, I couldn’t contain myself any longer

I wasn’t going to post any images of work in the up coming Solo Show, @evaraystudio , ‘Land and Light’ , until nearer the start date, 18th October

And then all the paintings arrived. And I lost my head .

New work from wonderful @meme_marey also arrived today and I love how perfect these 2 look together. I just had to share

Bit of a rehang today, replacing sold work and prepping for a few booked gallery appointments over the coming days.

I get to see work refreshed and anew. It’s something that is great to do in your own home too. Try it!

Morning

I was so pleased to receive more work from @meme_marey recently. And especially pleased that the consignment included 2 large paintings. Meme doesn’t make many large pieces, so to be able to select 2 was something of a bonus.

And one sold almost immediately (see a few posts back) But this wonderful reclining woman is still available.

I am so drawn to the way these pieces, by @courtneybaeartist and @ktmkatie work together; pinks, greens, blues and punctuating black flowing through with such energy, the glorious colour blocks and sinuous lines.

Love receiving photos from clients of bought work in situ

I send work all over the globe but this beautiful painting by @carriejeangoldsmith, bought at the last show, has stayed much closer to home, in a lovely home, in North Yorkshire.

Carrie’s abstract paintings sit equally well in loved in/lived in country homes as in modern minimalist apartments, and everything in between. I’ve placed several and have seen the outcome. All fabulous.

Her work envelopes you with rich colour and depth.

A proper view of @michaelbishopart strikingly beautiful painting (only a glimpse in the previous post) I can feel the hot sun on the scorched field and the green coolness offered in the foreground shadows. I wonder what happened ‘that’ Summer?
