4 years ago today this little monster came into this world in dramatic fashion(see earlier posts for deets)…watching Reefy grow into the toddler he is today has been pretty amazing, sure at times he makes you wanna bang ur head against the wall but there are moments of pure love n joy that far outweigh the bad…I can’t give @daragold enough props and love for she is the glue that holds our little family together…Happiest of Birthdays to you little Reefy, keep being the crazy, happy, adorable, ocean-loving, train set building, bouncy house enthusiast and overall little dude that you are…Cheers to more adventures, waves, snuggles and milestones!!!! Mommy and Daddy love you very much!!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there! Easily the hardest job there is. I feel very grateful to have 3 amazing moms in my life. First, my own mother, who I can’t thank enough for all that she has done my entire life, she never hesitates to help out in anyway possible and loves little Reef possibly more than me, lol. Secondly, my mother in law Marla, who is always super loving and supportive in all of Dara n mines adventures and pursuits. And of course to my wife, best friend, and mother to our little Reefy, @daragold , you truly are such an inspiration and make me strive to be the best father and husband I can be. You are one of the hardest working, caring, supportive, adventurous and sexiest person I’ve ever known, I don’t know what I’ve ever done to deserve you in my life but I certainly count my blessings that I get to wake up next to you everyday, even if you are usually up about 2 hrs before me, seeing you first thing in the morning just puts a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. Not only did she allow me to go on a boys trip to 🇲🇽 on mother days, she highly encouraged and ‘yelled’ at me everyday to buy my tickets. I mean, is she not the bestest beeb ever?? I love you and our little family sooo much, it actually hurt to say goodbye this morning, even if it’s only for a week, and of course Reefy got sick right before I left 🙈. Cheers to many more years of adventures and good times on this rollercoaster we call life.

And just like that, our little Reefy boy is 1 years old. By far the fastest, most stressful, most amazing year of my life. First, I need to send an enormous amount of love, gratitude, thanks and utmost respect for @daragold…she has been absolutely incredible and I’m in complete awe of her as well as all mothers out there, dara worked 2 jobs this winter all while pumping; making sure all reefs food was prepared, among a million other things, I can go on and on, u moms are gnarly and deserve all the respect in the world. Secondly, they say it take a village to raise a child, and that couldn’t be more true, I wanna thank both my parents and my In-laws for being the best grandparents ever, they never hesitate to help and they love Reefy with all their heart, we both feel very blessed and lucky to have them so close. This past year and a half has been crazy but with Dara by my side, I believe we could achieve so much more and truly live an amazing life. As they say, the days and nights are long but the years are quick…We love this little dude sooo freaking much and can’t wait to see him develop into a little boy and eventually a little man. Happy first anniversary to the most amazing person I know! Each day I continue to fall more in love with you and this amazing little family we have created! Sure a screaming baby and a needy puppy can be a bit much at times but there is no one else I would want to go on this journey with. Cheers to many more years of adventures and good times …I love you my beebs 😍🐶👶🏼🏠

One thing I look most forward to on my birthday is the videos that @daragold makes for me every year! This year was no exception, and this was one hell of a year for us…I am so in love with the family and home we created…just like our plants and veggies, I can’t wait to watch little Reefy grown and blossom into a little human and I feel so lucky to have you as my partner in this crazy journey called life…Love ya so much ma beeb!!!

Couple of NY Sea Monsters past couple of days // hurricane season is always bitter sweet, while we enjoyed days of pumping swell, Hurricane Ian also cause a massive amount of damage // Side note: it’s nice to see the sun again :)
