I am new to cosplay pretty much a total noob, when I saw @nerdyprincesscandice post the opportunity of joining a group cosplay for @newworldcomicconokc featuring DC Bombshells I took a look at the options and was immediately drawn to Black Canary. I am a researcher by trade and decided to become acquainted with my new character. It was a random choice that fits my own personality. The bonus to this new adventure has been getting to know and now love all of the amazing women who for one day became the DC Bombshells!! I loved every minute of it.
Despite the wig fiasco lol!
Thank you to @squirrellyjediphotography for the amazing photos!

Finally some Fizzie and Ozzie tonight!
#helluvabossseason3 has been just what I needed. I took inspiration from @whisperscosplay for the first photo. So many great Fizzie looks!

Cosplans are popping like popcorn! I want to cosplay Hester more and create her different looks and have fun with it. First new look will be her Car Coat from Wednesday Season 2 Episode IV-“If These Woes Could Talk”. I found a car coat on Poshmark and plan to add white collar and beaded blinged out trim. I love finding resale pieces that can be modified easily.

I am one day into my 6th decade, needless to say I have had time to reflect, most of my photos are in a trunk and I cannot get to them. Luckily most of the evidence of my crazy rebellious youth is lost to history. I have lived many lifetimes it seems in the last 60 years. I have remade myself more than Madonna lol.

#dragoncon is about Friends and Community. We return to Atlanta every year to see people we only see once a year, we might only see each other in passing or at a hotel bar, short meaningful conversations and love shared by all. #cosplayover40 #dragoncon #dragonconcosplay #confriendsarethebestfriends by @silver_cosplay58
