She said “YES!” ❤️💍❤️

My once little girl, Manisha (MissyB), is getting married to James! ❤️❤️

I’m writing this with tears of joy in my eyes, but I guess that’s perfectly normal for a dad on a day like today.

Manisha and James have been together since 2018, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know James. I can genuinely say that he is an amazing person and someone I’m proud to welcome into our family.

About a month ago, James messaged me and asked if he could meet me in person. We arranged to meet at Birmingham Grand Central, where we sat down over a coffee and had a conversation. It was then that James asked me for my daughter’s hand in marriage.

Without hesitation, I gave him my blessing. ❤️

The fact that James took the time to meet me face-to-face and ask for my blessing says so much about the kind of man he is. It’s a gesture of respect that I honestly didn’t think happened much these days, and it meant a great deal to me as Manisha’s dad.

To see the little girl I watched grow up now beginning this next chapter of her life with someone who loves and respects her makes me incredibly proud and emotional.

Congratulations to my beautiful daughter Manisha and my future son-in-law James. ❤️💍

Today is truely one of the happiest and proudest days of my life.

September is Recovery Month. My clean date is 24th February 2010. Our message is hope and the promise is freedom. Anyone can lose the desire to use, no one is too broken to have a change of heart and find a new way to live. What was once my secret is now my strength.
