SilverRocket SharkFin Kit Aero Performance Validation.
Car: Porsche 992.1 GT3 Cup SR EVO
Suspension: KW V6 Racing Tire:Sailun PD-01
Track: Shanghai F1 Circuit
Testing Methodology: Measuring peak lateral g in the 992 SR Cup Evo through Shanghai F1's high-G Turn 7.

Result:
-With Sharkfin: 1.72g (105MPH)
-Without Sharkfin: 1.66g (97MPH)

Testing Driver Feedback:
We put the wing on the lowest setting, P4. We wanted the rear a bit more lively, so you can actually feel what the sharkfin is doing. Once the shark fin was on, you notice it straight away through Turn 7. The rear still moves, but it's smoother. Without it, it can snap quite suddenly. As a result, I could carry more speed into Turn 7.

**SR Product 101, E.2 — Thermal Management of the SR Diffuser**

The first step in developing a race diffuser is not styling. It is mapping real-world heat.

We generate a race-condition heat map to see exactly where extreme temperatures hit the diffuser surface, and how severe they are. Only then do the engineers design a thermal-management solution that can live with that heat for session after session.

On the GT4 RS Ultra diffuser, that solution is:
- our proprietary R-HR heat-resistant coating
- a heavy-duty aluminum heat shield of the type used on Porsche 911 GT3 R race cars
- a thin hollow airflow layer between the carbon-fiber floor and the aluminum shield, which carries heat away before it reaches the composite
- OEM air intakes stay fully unobstructed. Enlarged outlets further improve heat extraction.

The last step is always the same: put the solution on track.

The photos show temperature readings after the GT4 RS Ultra diffuser completed more than twenty 30-minute sessions. The hottest zone — immediately adjacent to the exhaust — reached 180°C. Every area we had previously flagged as a heat-concentration risk stayed below 70°C. The alpha unit was deliberately left uncoated so any overheat damage would be visible. After 40+ sessions there is still no sign of
overheat.

For the 992.1 GT3 RS SR diffuser the brief is stricter. A rear-engined 911 generates more heat than a mid-engined 718. We are carrying over every lesson from the GT4 RS program and adding higher-spec thermal materials and more advanced packaging. This will be the first SR diffuser developed for the 911 platform.

Track data first. Then the part.
