I found myself the moment I stopped trying to make sense of someone else. 🖤🤍 by @silverstrands_

Ran this morning. National holiday. Alone. Keep telling myself: keep learning. Keep growing. Keep moving.
Later, fighting with this closet. Ugh.

Then I remember Glennon Doyle’s words: “I need to learn these things so if I ever remarry, it’s because I want a true partner, not a handyman.”

This day is reminding me to slow down. Breathe. Notice my body, my thoughts.

For now… just smile. It’s gonna be alright.

So, my silver hair has officially declared it’s time to shine!
I think I can finally say I’m salt and pepper ! Who knew my hair could be this sassy? It’s a little reminder that embracing our natural selves can lead to some pretty awesome surprises. Here’s to rocking our silvers!

You see the outcome, not the battle.
Couldn’t have done it without my people 🤍

Your 40s are basically your 20s, but with better taste, a better wardrobe, and enough life experience to know better… and do it anyway. 🥂✨

Qualche mese fa… e quanto sembra lontano. by @silverstrands_

Every day we see glimpses into each other’s lives.

Beautiful.
Honest.
Incomplete.

Sometimes the black sheep isn’t the one who doesn’t fit.

She’s the one who can no longer pretend she does.

The one who asks the questions.

The one who notices what’s not being said.

The one who chooses a different path.
