Our new single Howl was released today! And we will be playing it LIVE @creekbendcafe in Hope tonight 7pm Friday May 15th!
Will put some special Alaskan magic into this one that’ll transport you right into the mountains, stark naked, running and howling with a friendly pack of wolves. This songs speaks of Alaskan adventure, setting your troubles down and getting out the door to experience all that this beautiful state has to offer.

We are stoked about the sounds we made in @surrealstudiosak Kurt is a master of his craft as he recorded 12 of our songs in just 4 days. We think he captured the Alaskan-ness we are going for.

Julia really put the A in ALASKA with this stunning cover art! Straight throw back to Wolf Shirt Wednesday we couldn’t be happier. Go check out her art ir better yet book a group painting class with her! @jupiter_midnight by @silverthetooth

It’s that time of year where cabin fever takes on a distinct shape, namely that of summer music season in Alaska where the nights are long, the daylight lasts forever, and the music is special in a way that words cannot describe.

We love it for the manner in which musicians from various groups come together to explore new sounds and growing friendships with the sort of joy that is infectious, the kind the crowd can feel as well.

Black Barrel and the Bad Men will be playing at one of the first weekends in Hope at Creekbend @creekbendcafe and Silvertooth @silverthetooth from Good Company @goodcompanyak will be tickling keys and crooning on stages near you sooner than you know.

It is cold, it is dark, and more snow is coming soon. But better days are just around the corner and we will see you dancing in front of your favorite stage very soon.
