A tribute to Carel Fabritius’ The Goldfinch, painted in 1654, this tie captures the quiet poetry and delicate beauty of one of art history’s most beloved masterpieces. In this reinterpretation, the goldfinch is no longer bound, but free among graceful tree branches and soft botanical motifs, evoking a sense of lightness, freedom, and renewal.

Unlike the „Four-in-Hand,“ the Prince Albert knot involves wrapping the wide end of the tie around the narrow end TWICE. This creates a more voluminous knot with a distinctive, elegant shape.

Krawatte: „Caltagirone Yellow and Blue“ von @silviofiorello

The Gardens of Sicily Collection

The Bellini Garden Scarf - Tie - Pocket Square

Inspired by Villa Bellini in Catania, one of Sicily’s most celebrated historic gardens. Ornate pattern of sweeping floral forms, curling leaves and graceful paisley motifs creates a richly decorative composition, recalling the garden’s flowerbeds, winding avenues and abundant plant life. Villa Bellini itself developed from an 18th-century garden and became known for its floral displays and varied vegetation.

The necktie originated in the 17th century, when Croatian mercenaries serving in the French army wore distinctive neckerchiefs tied in a knot at the front – an early form of today’s necktie.
When they marched past King Louis XIV, their style caught his attention, and he popularised it at the French court. The French expression “à la croate” (“in the Croatian style”) gave rise to the word “cravate”, which later became “Krawatte” in German.
Today, the necktie is recognised worldwide as a symbol of elegance, style and professionalism.
On 18 October, “Necktie Day” commemorates its Croatian origins and celebrates its cultural significance.
