Sweet, Sweet Spirit Album Cover Shoot

A year ago today Mr. Paul Rivera worked his magic and shot the cover image for this jazz-gospel merger … a project created in honor of and for my mother many years ago and brought to life this past year with Ricky Dillard and his New G gospel ensemble (extraordinary team of voices).

This album spearheaded with the ever present love of @bluenoterecords and @donwas along with @universalmusicgroup and Brad O’Donnell and @motowngospel and @sim_one_llc and Penny Kjellberg of @necessaryothersproductions , along with @zekelistenbee AND the deeply talented engineer Mr. James Farber, annnnnnnnnnnnnd with Mastering by Mark Wilder bringing it all together.

Every time the record is played my childhood and mother are heard, not to mention it is a pretty darn cool spin. We are fortunate indeed. by @sim_one_llc
