A throwback to my first ever illustration commission. To this day, this 2 part illustration series holds a special place in my heart 💕. It challenged me in so many ways to step out of my comfort zone and I can't believe it's already been 7 years. I had so much fun creating this for @dairibord in collaboration with @adrenalinadvertising back in 2016.

I'd love to hear what you think of it and how your first commission was like in the comments! 👇

Growing up, on this day, election day, I always remember this man: Robert Mugabe. He was a controversial figure, with a complex legacy, but his impact on Zimbabwe and Africa is undeniable.

He was a hero of the African struggle, a champion of education and development, and a visionary of pan-Africanism. I have learned a lot from studying his life story, both the good and the bad. Today, I honor him. Rest in power Bob.
