Every event teaches you something.

On a recent recce, I realized that estimating with my eyes isn’t enough. I missed important details about the venue’s dimensions and power supply. We still delivered the event, but we also created problems that could have been avoided with a more thorough site visit.

Since then, I’ve learned that a professional recce is about collecting accurate information, not making assumptions.

What’s one thing you never forget to check during a site visit?

Let’s help each other become better engineers. 👇 #AudioEngineer #LiveSound #EventProduction #AVLife #proremediesedge by @simchat_adonai

A Quest for Stillness

My soul desires peace and joy that flows from within.
My heart yearns for stillness, even in chaos.
There’s a longing inside of me, a quest for more.
I seek safety in the arms of my Maker.
I desire the assurance of what the future holds. by @simchat_adonai
