Come setup the new @simcontainer suspended egg incubation chamber for the most recent Strophurus Eggs I dug up😈🥚

Thank you again to my guy @saguarostateexotics for loaning me this hatch box to give a try on this seasons clutches🙌🏽 The first 6 eggs we received from all the different females ended up collapsing and molding over after the first 2 days so im assuming they werent fertile, but these last 3 eggs we got from Korvo and Perdita all had solid red rings and are looking great after almost a week in the incubator!🤞🏽🫡 by @simcontainer

Lizard husbandry post! This is directed at monitor, iguana, beardie and tegu keepers! Keep your lizards skin, fingers and tails conditioned by offering a humid hide big enough to form a burrow that it can retreat to at night or when ever it goes to rest. The humid soil will condition the skin so theres no constriction and no dry rot leading to lost nails, tail tips etc. the soil should be tight enough so it doesn’t collapse, and definitely avoid loose sand. #reptilehusbandry #reptiletips #reptilekeeping #reptilesofinstagram #simcontainer by @simcontainer

Species: Australian Frilled-Neck Lizard (Chlamydosaurus Kingii)

This is a similar gene to what is going on in Bearded Dragons (Pogona Vitticeps)

There are 3 different defined localities of Frilled Dragons. Indonesian🇮🇩, Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬, and Australian 🇦🇺. Within that there are cross localities in captivity. Aussies 🇦🇺reach a larger size typically than their counterparts.

Well… putting these little chaos machines into their new enclosure went extremely well! 😂💚
I have officially unleashed the Kordensis Krakens! 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉

Six babies + one enclosure = one very busy keeper! 😅 Now the fun begins…keeping track of everyone, making sure each baby is basking, eating, drinking, shedding properly, and getting along while they settle into their new space.

Kordensis are naturally arboreal and highly active, so having plenty of climbing opportunities, hiding spots, and enrichment is especially important as they grow.

Wish me luck… because keeping tabs on six tiny, fast-moving Kordensis is about to become a full-time sport! 😂

For now, enjoy these ridiculously cute little Krakens. 🥹💚🐉

The northern form of doreanus (Blue tailed monitor) has some pretty distinct features compared to its southern and western forms. For one, it’s the pattern and color. Less blue on the tail and more “pastel” colors on top. Another is the skull morphology- the northern form has a less bulky snout though more observations are needed. Sometimes referred to as Jayapura or Cyclop Mountain blue tailed monitor, these are fast coming a popular project among varanid lovers.
