Introducing Simji Park - Korean artist based in the Netherlands and the newest artist to join DAE. Her world is soft, poetic and quietly emotional, built from memories, everyday observations and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. “I’m fascinated by how ordinary moments can carry unexpected weight and meaning.” Rather than explaining everything, Simji leaves room to feel, remember and interpret. Welcome to DAE, Simji. @simjipark Discover her works at DAE, Kote Marjanishvili 18 & online at dae.ge by @simjipark
Beautiful Chaos It’s been a busy period. This month, students I’ve mentored since their first year graduated, and I also moved into a new home. When I think back to my own graduation, I remember feeling completely lost, as if I were surrounded by chaos. Over time, I realised that the things I struggled through became part of who I am, and I wanted to share that in this illustration. Some parts still hurt, while others led me to unexpected places in life. Even when things don’t go the way we hoped, they can still bring us something we never imagined. To my students starting their next chapter, I hope you remember that it’s okay not to have everything figured out. May this season bring you courage, warmth, and kindness towards yourselves. 🩵 And to myself, still living among moving boxes… I hope I can enjoy this beautiful chaos too. @its_gaiia_ @eunhyechoart @na.heee @jimnsuh @simjipark @silkidoodle @myo_ji @jiyungleee by @simjipark
If a dream could be visualised, it would feel completely natural within it, but upon waking… by @simjipark
I started a challenge at the beginning of this year to draw one picture every single day. Sticking to it daily isn’t easy, and creating something I actually like every day is even harder. Still, I’ve picked out a few pieces that I’m fairly happy with. They may be a bit rough and imperfect, but as long as I don’t give up, it’s not over. 😁 by @simjipark
Happy New Year, everyone! Welcome to the Year of the Red Horse! I have created some collective images to share wishes for 2026 with me, based on what I learned from 2025, and I would like to continue with that. 🩵Allow myself to be inspired and to participate in any opportunities related to that. 🩵Continue regular workouts to keep my body and mind healthy. 🩵Accept things that are out of my control, such as bad weather in the NL 🥹 🩵Believe that the routine and effort I put in every day shape who l am. What are your resolutions for this year? I would love to hear them! @subinie94 @simjipark @silkidoodle @jimnsuh @its_gaiia_ by @simjipark
@its_gaiia_ @lilosome_e @simjipark @eunhyechoart @scrambledzoo by @simjipark
