Spent the last few days staying in Bulahdelah in NSW. Beautiful part of the country. Mountains on one side, lakes, rivers and the ocean on the other. All half hour drive away. Info centre in town has maps with routes marked for different drives. Free camping on river’s edge at edge of town, it only has 15 spots and seems to be full every night. by @simmoj77

Slept next to a river last night and it’s hard to get a pic of a Platypus so that’s the best I could do. Could hear them splashing about all night. Went to Thredbo and Perisher Valley today. Thredbo is like Margaret River, over rated and over priced. Perisher is a beautiful drive though. I always thought Mt Kosciuszko was 1 tall peak but it’s only 18m taller than Mt Clark next to it. by @simmoj77

Come for a drive through the mountains with me from Jamieson to Licola. Road was still a bit rough from winter but the views, the scent of the wild flowers and the absolute silence is well worth the drive. by @simmoj77

I’m up looking around Mountain Buller today, it’s 10:40 and currently 0.0 degrees heading for a top of 6. On a positive note, I’ve now seen snow 🥶 not enough to make a snowman but hey, it is summer, apparently. by @simmoj77

Took a quick trip down to Melbourne with my favourite daughter on Saturday to visit the best Mother in Law ever. Sunday a look and tram ride around Bendigo. Fantastic bit of silo art on the way across to Glenrowan. Checked out Lake Eildon today. Camped in Mansfield for a couple of day checking out the Snowy Mountains. First day of Summer and it’s been 18 degrees and raining. Such is Life by @simmoj77
