Some things in life are definitely hard to hear, but this topic I feel like needs to be addressed more… - Today the 10th September 2025 is World Suicide Prevention Day. In Australia alone on average, 9 individuals take their own lives per day and here are 9 sunsets to remember each individual. They are someone’s mother, father, son, daughter etc all with aspirations, hopes, dreams and goals in life, just like you and I. But unfortunately, the sheer weight of mental health can crush all those into a million pieces - Suicide is the biggest killer for people aged 15-44, and I’m sure 99% of people I know or you know fit into that age bracket! - It certainly hits harder when you know of someone who’s life has been taken by suicide. I miss you bro, I just wish that I could’ve been a better friend and checked up on you more often 💔 - Look out for your mates, because you’ll never realise what you’ve lost until it’s lost. It takes 2 seconds to ask “R U OK?” and those 2 seconds could save a life! Most people who take their own lives are us blokes. Remember it ain’t weak to speak, and talk to someone!
