I achieved one of my biggest dreams.

From August 13–16, I had the honor of competing at the World Yo-Yo Contest—the biggest stage in yo-yoing and a place I had dreamed of standing on for years.

I gave everything I had in the preliminary round. I put my heart, countless hours of practice, and everything I could bring into that routine. Unfortunately, I fell short of my goal of making it to the final round.

Of course, I’m disappointed. But more than anything, I’m grateful.

Grateful that I got to stand on that stage.

Grateful for every person who cheered for me, supported me, and believed in me.

And grateful that I finally got to experience the competition I had dreamed about for so long.

This may not have been the ending I wanted—but this is not the end. One day, I will come back to this stage. And one day, I will win that World Champion title.

This is only the beginning. See you again, World Yo-Yo Contest.❤️‍🩹
