I had been waiting for this moment since 1993: to meet a figure who has played—and continues to play—a major role in my life, and whose musical legacy has had a profound influence on me Mr. @t.tolkki i. After seeing him on tour with Stratovarius and having a few fleeting encounters, I finally had the pleasure of thanking him for his music. His songs—with their melodies and lyrics—helped me get through two very critical periods in my life: when I first realized I was carrying the burden of bipolar disorder and began the battle against it. Thank you, once again, for last night and for everything else. by @simon_jesterwise

@rruttenn of @thegatheringband last saturday at @liveclub
Seeing him again 20 years after the show on Lake Garda was a unique emotion, his solos, his melodies, the David Gilmour of the romantic side of metal. One of the most beautiful concerts of my life. by @simon_jesterwise

My favorite singer since 1995. Exactly 20 years ago I was lucky enough to meet her at the Evolution Fest in Toscolano (Lake Garda). Saturday's concert is in my top 10.
Grazie for incredible magic night by @simon_jesterwise

@thegatheringband @annekevangiersbergenofficia @rruttenn I waited 30 years to see this lineup, after 20 years of seeing and meeting them on Lake Garda. A concert of pure magic. Thank you. by @simon_jesterwise
