When Oli from @schillobros calls, I already know it’s going to be a fun video shoot. One of two locations we hit that day and what a backdrop! 🛩️How often do you get to shoot inside an airplane hangar for an @electriccallboy music video! Shoutout to @schillobros and the whole crew! taken in Düsseldorf, Germany by @simon_recker

GLÜCKSGEFÜHLE Festival 2026! 🍀
Up to 250,000 people, around 1 million m² of festival grounds and some of the biggest names in Pop, Hip-Hop, Party & EDM. I had the pleasure of working at the DOPAMIN Stage for three intense days, covering 18 bands and artists with a great crew. 🏗️💪🏼It was one of those jobs where you realize again how much you love what you do even though some shade would have been nice. 😂
A huge shout out to @liveframe for having me on board

A great privilege to be back at the beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle 🏰 for another TV & cinema production.
This time, we captured international and local orchestras with 14 full frame UHD cameras. 🎥🎶
I guess one of this year’s highlights was Disney’s “Live in Concert” right here at the castle that inspired Walt Disney.
Thank you @kinescope_film and @neoxfilm for having me back, and a huge shoutout to our fabulous crew.

Flying high again at the beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle 🏰
Getting ready for the Schwanstein Concerts means bringing all the equipment up first. 🏗️ Thankfully, we had some support to make it happen. It still amazes me to think they built this incredible castle without any modern technology. 🤌🏼 by @simon_recker

Well, that was fun. 🏀 Operating Camera 1, the overall game camera is always a responsibility. Getting to do it this time with the TechnoCrane made it even more rewarding. Have you noticed the LED floor? 🤌🏼Shoutout to @spontent_ taken in Uber Eats Music Hall by @simon_recker

Some though shots from our latest production at Havel Studios in June this year. 🎥

With the Technocrane in Vertigo mode, pulling focus became a real challenge. Huge shoutout to our 1st AC @danielstiefelhagen, who found a clever solution: using the LidarAC app with an iPhone 13 Pro mounted on the camera and connected to the Tilta Nucleus-M. The iPhone’s built-in LiDAR provided real-time distance data, giving him an extra reference to nail focus on those complex moves. A smart, low-budget workflow that worked surprisingly well. 👏

Have you tried LiDAR-assisted focus pulling yet? #lidar #technocrane22 #focus #arri by @simon_recker
