That’s the point. 🌅

Frames from my road trips across Western Australia 🇦🇺

We spend so much time chasing destinations that we sometimes forget where the best memories are made. I’ve found that they’re usually somewhere between two pins on a map, with no signal, no plan, and no reason to stop except that the light looked too good to drive past.

Maybe the unknown isn’t a detour. Maybe it was the destination all along.

And it’s like this for thousands of kilometers 😬

Australia is the kind of vast where your GPS loses ambition and the horizon refuses to get closer. In Europe, “far” still means villages, roundabouts, a bakery every 30 minutes maybe. Here, it only means sky rehearsing infinity and a road drawn with a ruler across a continent that forgot to decorate itself. The distances stretch your patience first, then your perception, until you realize the joke is on you: This is the Australian road trip experience.

It’s strange to come from a land of mountains, hidden valleys and alpine peaks, and end up somewhere so relentlessly flat as Western Australia. It’s kinda boring at first to be honest.

Stargazing in the Outback ✨

Exploring the outback feels like stepping into a vast stretch of nothingness.
Endless space, silence, and stars.

But the more time you spend out here, the more you realise it isn’t empty at all.
Life hides in details. In the ground, the trees, the sky, and in the quiet moments you finally give yourself.

Living on the road strips things back.
What’s left is space to look outward, and inward.
