When my friend Kailey asked me to take some photos of her family, especially with her dogs Daisy and Tyson, I felt both honoured and a little nervous. I’m an amateur hobby photographer, and with Daisy now 17, I knew how meaningful these photos would be. Having had photos taken with Charlie before one of the hardest goodbyes of my life, I really wanted to give her something she could hold onto.

Daisy loves the beach so that’s of course where we went. Not just any beach but Willows, which is where I had my photos taken with Charlie. It felt really meaningful to be behind the camera this time, capturing that same kind of love for a friend.

Photography keeps finding new ways to make me feel something. I love a creative girly shoot, but this brought out a different side of it 🤍

Of course, we couldn’t help but sneak in a few with her cutie baby Ronan and her mom, too 🥹

for some reason lately i’ve been feeling a little more comfortable with who i am & sharing more of my little world 🤍 also with falling back in love with photography.. I need an outlet for my photos haha. I think styling our wedding & seeing our photos made me excited about it again. film (and @bangcockslut teaching me film ♥️♥️♥️) pulled back me in, but i’ve even been reaching more for my dslr camera (maybe Noah influenced me here with his love for digital photography) that i’ve had since i was 16 lol & even just my iPhone! there’s a reason so many people love it… it’s so fun to document our lives & notice all the beautiful little moments along the way.

i think i was always waiting to share… until i had the perfect photography technique, the perfect home, the perfect family, the perfect body, the perfect everything lol. but nobody’s ever perfect & there’s something really sweet about sharing your own beauty, the things you find interesting & the little things that make you stop and look.. the journey 🥰🥰 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @simone.mariie
