'I will find you. I will always find you.' 🧡

It's been 15 years to the day since we were first graced with episode one of 'Once Upon a Time' and I became addicted to an alternate fairytale universe. The same princesses and princes, the same villains and monsters, as the tales from my childhood, but with new stories. Ones where the heroes had flaws, and the villains sometimes do deserve a happy ending. 💔

It's one of the things that is so wonderful about well written characters, and the worlds they live in. Great characters can be so many different things to so many different people. The foundation stays the same, but the way they connect to new audiences keeps things interesting! 🖍️

Where would we be without the Spiderverse? The Multiverse? Different timelines and galaxies? Creating new stories for the characters we love doesn't take anything away from the originals, it only adds to a bigger world! A bigger adventure! And sometimes even more characters to love. 🥰

Snow White was never my favourite Disney Princess, but the bad ass from OUAT? With an equally bad ass husband to fight by her side? Now that's definitely a Snow White and Charming I can get behind! 🔥⚔️

Little did I know that only a few years later, from that first OUAT episode air date, I would meet my own Charming.

And, we'd get to recreate our own whimsical OUAT world with @simone.shoots

In the 2000s, I’d be gawking at moody compositions & surreal storytelling composites. They inspired me to no end and were often British, female creators. Swipe for a really f*cking good book to read.

Those fairytales mum told me growing up stay in my mind no matter where I am in the world.

We had plenty of books & VHS videos on fairytale & lore. I’d draw imaginary stories of my own.

Even going through so many different phases of life, fantasy storytelling is still to this day something I see everywhere I go.

My very own rose tinted glasses.

Thanks mum 💖 I’m so grateful for you

A Door to a Magic Kingdom 🍁

I’m currently finishing off a book full of portals, worlds and magic systems 📖

The change of season felt right to release these photos into the wild ✨

Where would you want an inviting doorway to take you? 🚪
