Just a social worker and her university friend making our annual catch-up count. 🤍

This morning was my 4th time attending the Western Cape Social Worker Initiative with @proudnationbuilder 💚

Hosted at the beautiful Polo Pavilion at Val de Vie 🏇

It still amazes me every time to be surrounded by colleagues who share the same profession, passion and purpose. 🤍

A morning filled with purpose, perspective, connection and professional growth. 📈

This is what @proudnationbuilder is about for me — creating spaces that connect, encourage and equip people to make a meaningful difference in their communities and in the lives of others. 💗

Started the morning with a meaningful connection over a networking breakfast before hearing from an inspirational guest speaker 🥹

Grateful for mornings like these … ☀️

Grateful for the colleagues, the friendships, the learning and the reminder that we’re all part of something bigger. 🌷

Suicide prevention can look like the little things we do every day. 🤍

Sometimes it is a conversation.
Sometimes it is a quiet space to sit.
Sometimes it is simply noticing.

We may not always know the difference one small gesture will make, but creating a school environment where learners feel seen, heard, supported and connected matters.

Because sometimes, it’s the little things we do that make a difference. 🌱

You don't have to do everything. Just don't underestimate the difference something small can make.

Learning to love my body and its changes. ⏳

For the longest time, I mistook my reflection for something that needed fixing. 🤍

Now I’m learning that every curve is a verse in the story of my becoming. 🤎

The marks I once tried to hide have become reminders of a life beautifully lived. ⚜️

My body has never asked for perfection; only for kindness. 🤍

Womanhood has shaped me in ways no mirror could ever capture. ✨

Confidence has found me quietly, in the moments I chose grace over criticism. 🌱
