When I was getting ready to zip-line in Costa Rica, one of the staff asked me why I decided to do the experience alone as a 40-something single woman. As a 40-something single woman one of the reasons Madonna’s Confessions 2 resonates so deeply with me is that, as mid-life women over 40, we’re often told to shrink ourselves & become less visible because our “time is up.” At 67, Madonna does the opposite by putting out arguably one of the best albums of her career.
