Which one are you? Night owl or morning bird?

I'm a morning person. I happily get up before 8am (90% of the time, lol). I operate with a clearer mind in the morning and have the energy to get things done.

I don't know how I was able to pull off allnighters back in college. A real mystery.

To this day if I'm driving past 11pm I have to take a nap or take a unhealthy energy drink (that only gives me like 1 or 2 more hours).
My friends are always surprised if I answer or call after 9pm because they know.

I prefer sunrises. New beginnings. Anew.

Joy comes in the morning.
But the dark of the night makes you appreciate the light of the morning.

Start with the Source. There is always enough when God is involved. If we start with Him we will never run out.
Often I find myself only involving God when I remember, or when I think it's the right time. But listening to a sermon today I was reminded that I should be putting God FIRST, in EVERYTHING and continually. When I approach my life and even my thoughts with just me, often I come up lacking, there is scarcity, there is fear, there is loneliness, there is depression, there is emptiness, there is confusion, and there is unfulfillment . But in God there is nothing lacking, nothing empty or forgotten. He supplies it all, because He is the source of it all.

I have been in a low place the past week or so, feeling like I am not enough, that I am a failure, that I have little to bring. I know I have been doing better things for myself, doing the "right" things, having great experiences and growing, but sometimes I feel like it's insignificant. I am realizing that is because I am starting with me, how I view me, which is fickle and precarious at times. But, When you start with the Creator, when you start with the Maker of heaven and Earth, when you start with the one who said all that He has made Is Good, which includes you: There is peace, there is comfort, there is abundant love and purpose. When you start with God you have more than enough. He made the Heavens and the Earth, the very air that you breathe, the structure of your heart. He has it all, He made it all, and He is it all. I was reminded to put Him FIRST, in everything, Daily, and what a better outlook!
Refocused, Renewed, Restarted.

God>Enough
Psalms 19:14
May the words of my Mouth and the Meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.

God says I know you, right where you are, in the state you are, and I want you. I love you for you are mine. God asks, let me take you, let me hold you, let me love you, Just how you are. God allows you to choose Him to put Him FIRST in everything, and He promises there will be an overflow of blessings!

For some people getting burnt was the only way they learned that touching flames (hot stove) was something they shouldn't do, telling them wasn't enough. Recognize in yourself if you are typically that person and work to change that, we don't have to put ourselves through pain just to learn what's better for ourselves. Retrospect is a great place to learn, so is trial and error, but it's not the only place, use your resources, people around you as well, so you don't have to put yourself through pain to begin better.

That time I was at the bottom of the Cliffs of Moher. The beautiful of Ireland 😍 watch out, I'm coming back 😉

"He set the earth on it's foundations, so that it should never be moved. You covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. At your rebuke they fled; at the sound of your thunder they took to flight. The mountains rose, the valley's sank down to the place that you appointed for them. You set a boundary that they may not pass, so that they might not again cover the earth."
Psalms 104:5-9
