A DEEP UNWINDING 72”x72” 2026

Without your awareness and perception, 3D reality would be just a bunch of atoms zinging around around in dark space. You organize your reality. by @simonesimonart

We are THRILLED with the recent review by Patricia Albers in @squarecylinder_artreviews of Simone Simon's work in her solo show presented by Gray Loft Uptown at The Orchard / Galleries on 25th Street.

Thank you for the insightful remarks of our first show at this venue!

An excerpt of Ms. Albers review: "Like much Romantic art, Simon’s is transitory. Astir in color and light, everything is dissolving and becoming. The effect is quasi-cinematic. Viewers can’t help but imagine what will happen next, however fleeting and ungraspable. Her paintings ask that we awaken our imaginations, lose track of time, and discover what we will — a pursuit not unlike cloud-gazing. It’s an appealing prospect at this dark, chilly, and often harried time of year." @palbers22025
