The sound of @simonesouoficial saves my soul.

Coming back to dance after my sternoclavicular joint injury felt both emotional and uncertain. I spent over a month unable to raise my right arm, so returning to summer bookings and especially to Drum Camp, the closing point of this season , carried a different weight this year.

Sharing the stage with @manuela_benini , where our body symbiosis speaks for itself, and dancing to Simone and @olegfateevmusic Arua, a song about a bird, came to symbolise this possibility of finding a new flow: slower, more conscious, but still deeply filled with emotion.

Through the choreography, we move through Oxossi and Oxum-inspired movements, connecting body and nature at a time when so much seems to pull us away from both.

Thank you, Drum Camp @musicworldwideuk for 30 years of culture , more than half of which I have been humbled and honoured to be part of. To share this moment with an artist I admire so deeply, and surrounded by so many people I respect and love, makes this return even more meaningful.
