In occasion of Design Week 2026, and ahead of the upcoming World Cup, we are pleased to present a special newspaper we created for @adidasita and @futbolemotionit, exploring the many layers of their relationship with the game. Inside, a series of in-depth articles revisit past World Cups and look ahead to the one we’re all waiting for, exploring the design and history of iconic pieces, key moments and legendary figures. A journey into how the Three Stripes brand has helped shape football culture, on and off the pitch, through design, symbolism and storytelling. The project is further enriched by a series of original illustrations by Italian artist @simonetribuiani, whose work delves into the emotional memory of sport. Through a visual language built on fragments, colors and fleeting moments, his practice translates personal and collective experiences into layered, evocative narratives. The project has been entirely written and designed by Off The Pitch Archive.
