Heartbreak turned me into a poet. My cracked pen speaks where my voice fails. I write of thoughts about love, longing, loss and healing.

Into the Shadows doesn't always mean darkness. Into the Shadows doesn't always say someone's gone forever. Maybe, the beauty of nature is meant to take a break in the shadows for a while, leaving its eternal grace behind!

This is a sonnet in pentameter, my humble contribution for #sonnetsunday organized by our amazing friends Matthew @mjbwriting_ and Natalie @natalieharveldpoetry

I would like to dedicate this piece to a friend who loves writing about nature. Adrianne ✨️ @the_canvas_never_dries
