All About That Bass!
Just before the Abbey Road sessions I finally managed to get hold of a @wilcockbasses Mullarkey. As soon as I heard Neil’s demos for the new songs I knew this bass would be the perfect fit. Viv makes some incredible instruments. If you’re hearing bass guitar on the new album, you’re listening to that bass.
The fantastic @kevinwestenberg joined us in the studio during the album sessions and he shot these photos. Kevin also shot the album cover and you’ll find lots more of his behind the scenes photographs in the Deluxe LP

The ‘How to Sing Yes’ shows at @greennotemusic were programmed to happen after the @demonmusicgroup Sound of McAlmont & Butler reissue in the summer.

I should know better by now: releases always get postponed for one reason or another. But that’s cool because now the shows are part of the reissue promo programme.

Delighted at the Dog Day reunion with @shakiradrums drums and @tashpanas and to say that the Little has landed.

I asked @simonlittlebass to join us when we did our @circleandstar run, but he’s been all over the map all year with Neil and @divinecomedyhq . Neil’s on hols now, so Simon is free. Hurrah.

And nice to walk to work for a change. Hop, skip and a jump from my gaff to @brixtonhillstudio
