Anna Pavlova in her studio, within her home, Ivy House, Golders Green, West Hampstead, London. With five of the eight pupils that she ever taught.

From left to right; Madame Anna Pavlova, Gracie Curnock, Helen May who was my mother's Ballet teacher, Beatrice Griffiths, Muriel Stuart and Maisie McDonald. Three other pupils were absent on the day this photograph was taken.

Vaslav Nijinsky would often visit Anna Pavlova there and would also teach the pupils. by @simonobrien_123

Photograph of Helen May

My mother performed in Ballet Productions at Chanticleer Theatre, Chelsea & Kensington, London. Directed by Helen May, her Ballet Teacher.

The famous British Ballerina who was taught by Anna Pavlova and Vaslav Nijinsky. She would later become a member of Anna's Ballet Company.

She knew Helen May very well, as she was a personal friend of hers. by @simonobrien_123
