INSENCE HOLDER
By Filip Base/ @base_filip_

A brutalist aesthetic transformed into an interior object. This incense stick holder by designer Filip Base draws inspiration from the raw, industrial atmosphere and distinctive mid-century architecture of Ústí nad Labem. Each piece is hand-cast from fine concrete, intentionally preserving raw textures and parting lines as unique aesthetic merits. The result is a solid, geometrically precise monolith that stands on the borderline of functional design and interior sculpture.

GLASS ASTRAY
By Radek Krucina/ @radek_glass

The glass ashtray by designer Radek Krucina is based on his original Star vase, which perfectly captures our current stage of life. It may be an unhealthy habit, but it is accurate. For us, a cigarette represents a 5-minute break—a moment that allows us to briefly switch off and become aware of the present moment we are in. Each piece is mouth-blown into a wooden rotary mold and subsequently hand-cut, including the decorative cigarette notches.

We’ve prepared a new mug collection..
🧑🏼: Created for KIDO in collaboration with me (Šimon Tintera/ @simontintera ) and Rozálie Vlachová/ @rozalie.vlachova ."
👩🏻‍🦰: "For these specific mugs, we used light stoneware. They are partly glazed and partly unglazed, and we used a special metallization technique."
🧑🏼: "This technique creates a silver visual effect, and you can clearly see where the glaze was applied and where it wasn’t. It creates a really nice pattern. We made a mug that is basically shaped like a little bell when you turn it upside down, especially fitting now that Christmas is coming."
👩🏻‍🦰: "Yes, and they’re completely silver, because why not."

Each of our ceramics is a handcrafted original, lovingly made by Tintera, ensuring every piece is truly one of a kind.

Crafted from grey clay that transforms into a crisp white during high-temperature firing, these mugs are finished with a custom-mixed glaze designed by Šimon himself.

The glaze is not only unique but also entirely food-safe.
