Road trip from Maine to DC! Flew out of punta Gorda to Bangor, ME and spent first few nights in Acadia NP. Drove down to Boston where we played hide n seek in the big city (really fun btw). Down to Providence, New Haven, NYC, Philly, and finally DC. (Was gonna post this earlier but forgot 😬✌️) by @simonw1609
Finally senior year. Thanks to the graduates who were my mentors the last three years, I won't forget you guys. One last lap. One last season. Let's finish this. by @simonw1609
Freshman✅ Sophomore✅ Junior✅ Senior🔜🏁 Its been quite the year and track season. Didn't race much but always felt like my team had my back. So happy to spend another season with the goats but it sucks to see so many seniors say goodbye for the last time. I sincerely hope all of them do well in the future and they know if they ever need something I'll be here. Crazy to think I'll be one of the seniors in a few months. ✌️ "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9 by @simonw1609
Only one more season to go... This team has always been there for me and I'm glad to be here. Proud of everyone on this team, we've been working hard and we pushed till the very end. Every hard workout and all the long miles we did, we all changed for the better and became a stronger team. I finally broke 19 minutes in the 5k with a PR of 18:52 and made it to states, though that wouldn't have been possible without the rest of them. So thankful to have these people around me, even if it's just a few months out of the year we spend in XC. Unfortunately we have to see a lot of seniors leave this year and it's not going to feel the same next year without them. Thankfully I don't gotta write goodbyes until after track season. Had an awesome trip to Orlando over Thanksgiving! Visited Epic Universe for the first time while I was there, which was really amazing. All of the lands had awesome rides and visuals that were absolutely insane. 🤩 Also went to the other parks, and finally went on the hill after a bit of convincing from @robert_that_runs by @simonw1609
Spanish River Invitational 2025🔥🐯 Fun overnight with the team, and a restart to weekly races lol. by @simonw1609
Another year begins, another summer comes to a close. We all had fun and made memories that will last a lifetime, but the days keep going no matter if you want them to or not. You'll never be this young again, so just cherish it. Let the Lord guide you in his church, and show you the world as he made it to be. Isaiah 43:1-5 He called upon you to be his, and had walked the troubled path. ✝️ by @simonw1609
Cross Country North Carolina Trip #3 for me is complete! Had a blast hanging out with the team, and looking forward to a great season running with you all. Romans 5:3-5 by @simonw1609
I FINALLY GOT CONFIRMED YESTERDAY!! After two years of religion class, and 16 years of growing my faith in the Catholic Church, I can finally accept my Baptismal promises, and become an adult in the church. Such an amazing journey, and God has always lit the way. 🕊️✝️❤️❤️🎉 Also got confirmed with my friend Anna. Congratulations to her! I can't wait to continue in my faith, and stand up for what is true. Whatever comes my way, from personal temptations or persecution, I will stand strong.❤️✝️🥇 Saint Michael the Archangel was my chosen saint for this journey. The leader of God's Army, Defender of the Church, and the Slayer of the Devil, he shows courage and willingness to fight for his faith. I chose him because I plan to become a Federal Agent and work to protect the people, and want to become a guardian of people.⚔️✝️ by @simonw1609
Trip back home to Seattle ❤️ 🌲 Went back to Washington state for a few days to look back on all the old places I used to love. Had loads of fun, but got a little bit of jet lag since it's 3 hours behind Florida. Really happy to have gotten a chance to go back, the Pacific Northwest is truly beautiful. I also ran a 10k and got 42;50.😁 by @simonw1609
