All things come to an end, everything dies. And so it is, SIMP has been laid to rest. Sorry if you would have liked to see us one last time, but it just wasn’t feasible. THANK YOU to anyone who came out to a show, booked a show, activated the pit, picked up merch, vandalized in our name, and all the bands we got to play with (especially our sonic comrades in Psychic Death, Reaping Fields, Infinite Ammo, and Big Knife). Sick Joke hits the stage Saturday afternoon at Crucial Times Fest! Sick Joke is a Spokane supergroup forged deep underground by members of Simp, Grave Depression, and Psychic Death. Their sound reeks of disgusting high-speed crusty d-beat Doom worship.

Crucial Times Fest will take place May 29-30 at the Guardian in Spokane, WA. Featuring 23 DIY hardcore bands from across the PNW, proceeds will support immigrant justice and aid. Tickets are $15 per session or $35 for the weekend and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Students can get a weekend pass at the door with their student ID for $25. We’re pumped for the return of Eastern Washington’s Simp on Friday, May 29 at Crucial Times Fest! Beginning in 2022, Simp raged across the Palouse, leaving a path of twisted wreckage and mangled limbs. Who knew a trio could create such havoc? In 2025 they unceremoniously turned off the lights, much to the disappointment of circle pits throughout the PNW. Now they are back for one night only. Is it a last show? A reunion? Whatever it is, come pour out a La Croix for the boix while you have the chance!

Missoula absolutely fucking rips. The SIMPATHIZERS activated the most vicious pit known to man. Huge shoutout to @cryptofsouls for having us be a part of Missoula punk history. Shoutout to @frontsidecrime for ripping hard as fuck, @pay_no_mind69 for getting the pit activated and letting us us their gear and @the_foilies for destroying what was left of Flavortown. It's easily the wildest show we've ever played and the most activated pit ever. Punks alive and well in Montana. If you think Missoula is a spot to skip on tour you're dead fucking wrong.
