Back to our irregularly scheduled program of documenting another trip across the pond - sometimes I wish I just lucked into millions of dollars (who doesn’t 🤭) so I could see my online friends all the time but I get to be thankful of the memories I made, and have something to look forward to year after year.

There’s a not small amount of people I got to meet over the past week and a half that are not pictured, mostly because I’m awful at taking photos in the moment or they were taken on another phone and I just didn’t know who to ask haha and even though I tell myself year after year that I’d improve on that… look where we are! 😂

Thanks to everyone that I get to call a friend and get to hang out with every once in a while, and to the people I didn’t know as well prior and still got to do fun things with, whether it’s playing silly card games, riding speedy rollercoasters bravely, going out for dinner or a party, voting each other out of fake in-the-moment games, running around a room pressing tiles and buttons, solving some escape rooms or just having great conversation. The list of things could honestly go on and on 😤

Whether you’re pictured or not (cause again I’m still terrible at this LOL) know that I’m very appreciative of our time together, I learn a lot about myself any time that I get to step out of my home and my comfort zone, and I’m looking forward to entering 2026 with another fresh perspective.

Ah yes, another trip for the books - It took me entirely too long to sift through all the photos that have been taken in this week and a half, and there’s STILL so many more unpictured moments and people, it’s actually crazy 🥲

Was this completely financially irresponsible of me? Absolutely! Would I wreck my bank accounts again to spend quality time with my friends? You bet!

Sometimes I forget how valued I am, and being surrounded by so many incredible people is always so revitalizing and special. Every single person I’ve encountered on this little trip left a mark on me, and I will forever cherish every tiny memory we were able to make together.

I have so much love and gratitude for the friendship, the experiences, the laughs, the sense of comfort, truly so many things that it’s hard to put together into words, I genuinely feel blessed to be friends with all of you, and I’m already looking forward for any future memories ❤️

#ThanksForTheMemories - Pt. 3

It may have been the “beginning of the end” but the last few days overseas were still full of friends and memories - it’s almost like I was meant to meet more folks when I got stuck in L.A. for an extra three days 🫡

Got to experience my first batch of Buffalo Wild Wings, lost a live Catan match, got to see the beauty of Vegas for a day and night, got hooked up with some tapas, and got to experience the nightlife of West Hollywood for a few more days. By this time my mind was clearly fried because I’ve forgotten or lost basically half of my things somewhere but my brain just works in mysterious ways 🥰

I’m already looking forward a little too much to my next trip over here, I realized I love being around people maybe a little too much 😂

#ThanksForTheMemories Pt. 2 - SHECAGOOO, SHECAGO!

Did I ever imagine myself organizing a trip that would sleep like 20+ people in a house? Absolutely not. But I have zero regrets, everyone made this experience so worth it, and there’s so many more pictures I could post here, maybe one or two extras may get lost in Part 3 🤭

But Chicago was definitely the definition of traveling for the people, not the places, it was cold as fuuuck, however you all made my lil baby heart warm with all your love, and your willingness to come out to meet lil old me ❤️

This specifically really gave me a sense of validation that I picked the right community to be a part of years ago, and even happier that I chose to build one of my own.

We shall ignore the few hiccups where I lost my wallet among other things, I had a lot of dumb bitch juice during my Chicago appearance 🥰

So much great food, moments of great company, playing Jackbox, going on walks and complaining that we’re freezing, watching shows together, laughing, exploring the area and it’s sights, getting a green river tourist photo, watching the city from the 66th floor of a tower, I honestly don’t think I can capture everything in a post, even if it’s a long one.

Thank you all again for making my first time in Chicago a truly memorable one 💐 by @simplehalex
